IR (H) distance learning
- Duration: 10 weeks (approximately)
- With our distance learning courses, you can progress at your own pace, using state-of-the-art computer program, ATPdigital, which has been designed to split the subjects across two modules; each module leads to a set of exams.
- ATPdigital breaks your course into bitesize stages, guiding you through your studies with interactive diagrams, animations, and explainers, concluding each stage of your learning with a progress test. Learn from anywhere in the world, at your own pace.

FI (H) – flight instructor
Applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be the holder of PPL (H) and passed the CPL(H) theory, or CPL (H) license
- Have a valid type rating on the relevant helicopter being used during the course
- English: Language profiency level 4
- Have 250 hours total time on helicopters, with at least 100 hours as pilot in command (PIC) for holders of CPL (H), or 200 hours PIC for holders of PPL (H).
- Duration: The theoretical part of the course is held twice a year (summer and winter), and the duration is four weeks. Upon completion of the theory, the flying phase of 30 hours begins.

Type Rating
EHC offers type rating on the following helicopters:
- R44 – Duration: 5-7 days
- EC135 T2+ Duration: 9-14 days

Instrument IR(H)ME
The applicant must possess:
- Medical Class 1
- CPL (H) license or PPL (H) with night right.
- Passed IR(H) theory
- English: Language profiency level 4
- Hold a valid type rating for the helicopter being used or as a minimum, complete the vfr training of 8 hours prior to begin the IR(H)ME course.
- 50 hours cross country as PIC in helicopters. (Does not apply to candidates who has completed the ATP(H)/IR, ATP(H), CPL(H)/IR or CPL(H) integrated course)
- Duration: 6-8 weeks.
